Confidentiality - Landowners have the Right to Privacy regarding TCC findings
Firstly, TriCountyCaving (hereafter referred to as TCC) will NEVER intentionally make public, information which could comprimise our relationship with our generous Landowners.
To that end, TCC will always use the "Hide in Navigation" feature found on the Pages tab of the Weebly dashboard, which is used to build this web site. This promise will allow the domain's owner time to personally review ALL photos and video, check for specific metadata, read field notes, read group texts.
Once reviewed, I will add "Build" items upon which Images, Video, et cetera may be contained for Public Viewing. Only after this thorough review will the newly built "Pages" have their status changed from "Hide in Navigation" to PUBLISH.
Finally, maintaining on-going, positive interactions with ALL ensures the chance of continued positive relations with our local landowners. Therefore, each and every TCC participant is required to 1) adhere to a Confidentiality agreement, 2) which is part of the signed Release Form process, 3) BEFORE receiving GPS coordinates at Staging Area!
If a TTC participant is found to have violated any portion of the Confidentiality section as written above, that participant will be banned from further involvement with TTC.
