The SOUTH Sink - a karst window 10-12ft below the topsoil
As a youth of 6 or 7 years old, I can remember (just like at the Bunger Sink) the many deep gullies that ran toward this karst face. Through the years, agricultural activity, and the resulting erosion, have deposited up to 12 feet of topsoil above the grade that I recall as a young boy. I used our backhoe to clear the karst face, and we placed a large plastic pipe in place to keep this hole draining the Southwest corner of our lowest ground.
